Organization Seeks Experienced Grant Writer
Organization, whose programs span multiple frameworks for infants, children, adolescents and adults, seeks a grant writer to undertake responsibility for both English- and Hebrew-language requests, reports, tracking and general oversight of donor relations.
The position is a full time one, and the organization’s head office is in Jerusalem.

If you understand the grant-writing process, know how to present a cause to a prospective funder – and how to report on it and then cultivate a relationship over time, then we are looking for you.
DUTIES
- Work directly with CEO to increase funding and create new income options
- Write all grant applications and all reports to funders and prospective funders – in Hebrew and in English
- Expand existing donor base in Israel and abroad
- Develop additional income-generating avenues
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Must identify wholly with the organizational mission
- Native-level English speaker with outstanding English writing skills
- Hebrew-speaker with excellent writing skills
- At least 5 years of proven grant writing experience
- Proven success in raising funds from foundations and private donors
- Excellent analytical and creative skills in developing cultivation strategies
- Self-starter with the confidence and maturity needed to join a small but driven team
- Able to meet multiple deadlines and work well under pressure
- An academic degree
- Computer literacy: OFFICE, EXCEL, on-line grant reporting and submission, CRM
