The Senior Grants Manager will work with leading policy experts to translate their ideas, visions, and plans into compelling opportunities for philanthropic investment, helping them to communicate effectively throughout the entire grant cycle (LOIs, proposals, reports and ongoing correspondence with donors and prospects).

As the IDI Senior Grants Manager, You Will:
- Report to the Director of Development;
- Have full responsibility for the grant writing process: prepare LOIs, proposals, reports, and donor communications across the full grant cycle;
- Work with senior scholars to translate their ideas, visions and work plans into compelling opportunities for philanthropic investment;
- Craft donor-facing content: develop fundraising and development-focused marketing materials that convey IDI’s impact and inspire philanthropic engagement;
- Work with the finance department to develop budgets and budget narratives.
This Job Is For You If:
- English is your mother tongue;
- You possess outstanding writing skills;
- Are completely fluent in Hebrew (including strong reading comprehension);
- Have at least 5 years of grant writing experience;
- You are a clear thinker who likes to grapple with big ideas, pays attention to detail and is adept at abstract conceptualization and nuanced presentation;
- Are an entrepreneurial self-starter who can compile raw data from a variety of sources and move forward even in the absence of detailed instructions;
- You are excited to learn about an array of policy issues from a multitude of experts with differing communication styles;
- You enjoy building and cultivating relationships;
- Have some experience in marketing communications and storytelling;
- Are able to meet multiple deadlines and work well under pressure;
- Are a strong team player;
- Are computer literate (including Office, Excel, on-line grant platforms, and Salesforce).
