An organization that focuses on bridging the educational gaps in the periphery seeks an experienced grant writer to undertake responsibility for proposals, reports, tracking and general oversight of donor relations.

An Opportunity for Someone Who Can Raise Money: This is a veteran organization which operates throughout the country. It already has several major donors but needs to substantially expand its donor base. The successful candidate will be the sole fundraiser in the organization.
DUTIES
- Identify and cultivate major prospects in Israel and abroad
- Write all grant applications and all reports to funders and prospective funders
- Produce donor-driven marketing material
- Develop relations with the business sector in Israel
- Track and supervise all submissions and relationships with funders worldwide and keep the organizational CRM updated
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Must identify wholly with the organizational mission
- Native-level English speaker with outstanding English writing skills
- Hebrew-speaker with excellent writing skills
- At least 5 years of proven grant writing experience
- Proven success in raising funds from foundations and private donors
- Excellent analytical and creative skills in developing cultivation strategies
- Self-starter with the confidence and maturity needed to join a small but driven team
- Able to meet multiple deadlines and work well under pressure
- An academic degree
- Computer literacy: OFFICE, EXCEL, on-line grant reporting and submission, CRM
- Must have a car
