Working closely with the CEO, staff and executive team, the Head of Development will work to define short- and long-term funding goals, lead all development efforts both in Israel and overseas.

Job status: Full-Time, the organization’s offices are in Shefayim but the position is a hybrid one. Salary range: 15,000 – 17,000

As the Head of Development, You Will:
- Report to the CEO
- Have full responsibility for all donor accounts and key fundraising functions (both in Israel and overseas);
- Write all grant applications and reporting (LOIs proposals, reports, budgets and budget narratives);
- Work with staff to ensure compliance with granting commitments
- Have full responsibility for expansion of donor base, both in Israel and abroad
- Plan all donor initiatives (both on-site and virtual);
- Be responsible for all acknowledgments of major donors through public and private recognition
This Job Is For You If:
- Are fluent in both English and Hebrew;
- You possess outstanding writing skills in English OR Hebrew;
- Have strong oral presentation skills;
- Have raised major gifts for an Israeli nonprofit for at least 3 years;
- Are familiar with Israeli social-change organizations and shared society initiatives;
- Are able to meet multiple deadlines and work well under pressure;
- Are a strong team player with leadership capabilities;
- Are a self-starter who can compile raw data from a variety of sources and move forward;
- Have at least a bachelor's degree;
- Have excellent interpersonal skills;
- Are computer literate (including Office, Excel, on-line grant platforms, and Salesforce);
- Believe in and want to promote aChord’s vision and mission.
