Reporting to the CEO, the Division Head will have overall responsibility for the organization's fundraising efforts, expanding the donor base to support growth and expansion, and managing the Division and its team.

The Division Head will lead all fundraising efforts and strategic partnerships, taking full responsibility for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, both in Israel and throughout the Jewish world.
As Division Head, You Get To:
- Join Alut’s Senior Management team;
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to achieve the organization's annual fundraising goals;
- Manage, cultivate, and grow a portfolio of major donors and prospects, both in Israel and throughout the Jewish world;
- Oversee all income-generating avenues, including campaigns, institutional grants, telemarketing, government agencies, and private giving;
- Manage the development team and define their responsibilities (campaigns, grant writing, reports, donor relations, and donor visits);
- Work with the CEO and Board to identify and cultivate new fundraising opportunities;
- Develop and monitor the department’s annual budget;
- Work closely with marketing, communications, and finance to ensure alignment of messaging and targets;
- Be available to travel, as necessary.
This Job Is For You If You:
- Are familiar with the broad spectrum of income-generating avenues employed by large Israeli nonprofits;
- Have proven success securing six-figure gifts from a variety of sources;
- Managed a fundraising team for at least 5 years;
- Have a proven track record of regularly raising six-figure gifts;
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and can build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders;
- Have flawless Hebrew, with excellent writing and presentation skills;
- Have flawless English, with excellent writing and presentation skills;
- Have experience creating fundraising materials, such as proposals, donor reports, and appeal letters;
- Are familiar with fundraising databases and software, including CRMs;
- Are collaborative and a team player, with the ability to multitask;
- Comfortable working with high-capacity donors and prospects;
- Can travel frequently;
- Have a bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred).
