A nonprofit promoting social mobility through physical and community-based urban regeneration seeks a mission-driven, highly experienced development professional to support the CEO in raising major gifts and impact investments.

The position is a full time one and the organization’s offices are in central Israel. Proven major-gift experience and fluency in Hebrew are a must; raising impact-investment funds an advantage.

An Opportunity for a Determined and Highly-Motivated Development Professional: Reporting directly to CEO, you will be expected to oversee all applications and reporting, and execute all tasks involved in maintaining all current relationships and developing new ones, both for major gifts and for impact investments.
DUTIES
- Work directly with CEO to increase funding and create new income options, identifying prospective funders to expand donor and investor base
- Oversee the writing of all grant applications and reports to funders and prospects
- Host missions and plan donor and investor visits
- Oversee the development of new FRD and impact-investment strategies
- Oversee and develop marketing initiatives for social media
- Track and supervise all submissions and relationships with funders worldwide and keep the organizational CRM updated
- Prepare CEO for all meetings and events
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Must identify wholly with the organizational mission
- Must be a native English speaker, with outstanding English writing skills
- Must be fluent in Hebrew, with excellent writing skills
- Proven success in raising major gifts from foundations and private donors
- Proven success in overseeing a development team
- Experience at raising impact investments considerable advantage
- Excellent analytical and creative skills
- Experience developing cultivation strategies
- Self-starter with the confidence and maturity to succeed in a team-driven environment
- Able to meet multiple deadlines and work well under pressure
- An academic degree
- Computer literacy: OFFICE, EXCEL, on-line grant reporting and submission, CRM
