The VP Development and Partnerships will work with the CEO to plan and implement a full annual work plan that promotes the Ayalim brand and increases philanthropic support for its work.

Job Status: Full-time based in Beer Sheva (although the position is a hybrid one); Salary range: 18,000 – 25,000

Reporting to the CEO, the VP Development and Partnerships will be responsible for all Development and donor relations operations, including PR and marketing, gift processing, database management, prospect research, solicitations and stewardship cycles. The VP Development and Partnerships will also be charged with forging income-generating partnerships that help Ayalim meet all its funding goals.
As Ayalim’s VP Development and Partnerships, You Get To:
- Report to the CEO;
- Have full responsibility for all income-generating operations, whether they be donor-related or the forging of long-term project-related partnerships;
- Plan and execute a comprehensive fundraising and partnership plan;
- Oversee all grant writing, reporting and donor communications;
- Found Ayalim Friends of organizations in Israel and abroad;
- Be responsible for all events and campaigns in Israel and abroad;
- Be responsible for all data management as well as gift processing and acknowledgements;
- Oversee all research on prospects and the assembling of materials for cultivation and solicitation visits;
- Develop and execute a multi-year marketing plan that increases Ayalim’s brand awareness;
- Oversee outsourced marketing and PR professionals;
- Represent the organization at events.
This Job Is For You If You:
- Have at least 4 years prior experience in fundraising, donor cultivation, and PR in Israel and abroad;
- Are an English speaker with excellent presentation and writing skills;
- Are a Hebrew speaker with excellent presentation and writing skills;
- Are high-functioning, curious, motivated and a team player;
- Have a passion for the Ayalim mission;
- Are familiar with the Jewish philanthropic landscape;
- Are available to travel to both North America and Europe;
- Can multi-task and prioritize, and are a quick learner;
- Are detail-oriented, organized, enthusiastic, and energetic;
- Are personable, and are able to forge relationships;
- Are ethical and able to model high personal and professional standards;
- Have a Bachelor’ degree in a recognized institute of higher education;
- Have experience with and knowledge of CRMs and are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
