The Head of Resource Development and Marketing will work with the Executive Director and Board to build and implement a strategy that successfully engages and expands the full gamut of philanthropic resources interested in advancing those in Israel who struggle to find employment.

Job Status: Full-time. The organization is based in Tel Aviv but the position is a hybrid one; Salary range: 18,000 – 20,000.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Head of Resource Development and Marketing Division will lead a department of five development professionals and join the Organization’s senior management. The successful candidate will considerably increase funding both in Israel and internationally, and therefore be a dynamic and inspiring leader with well-honed managerial skills and demonstrated success building a fundraising strategy, working with board members, and growing new philanthropic relationships both in Israel and internationally.
As Director of Resource Development at Be-Atzmi, You Get To:
- Be responsible for all global development and marketing operations;
- Develop and implement a multi-year fundraising strategy;
- Manage a team of 5 development professionals;
- Cultivate relationships with all existing funders;
- Identify and engage new philanthropic sources (private, foundations, corporate, and governmental);
- Develop new revenue streams (such as self-generated income);
- Be responsible for all grant writing, reporting and donor communications;
- Be responsible for all marketing activity;
- Be responsible for all data management as well as gift processing and acknowledgement;
- Represent the organization before visiting missions.
This Job Is For You If You:
- Have a passion for our mission;
- Have prior experience in donor cultivation and solicitation of six-figure gifts;
- Have prior experience engaging the corporate sector in a social mission;
- Have prior experience managing a development team;
- Have prior experience building and overseeing budgets;
- Have faultless English and are fluent in Hebrew;
- Are high-functioning, creative and able to work concurrently on multiple projects;
- Have demonstrated experience with and knowledge of CRMs and are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Are ethical and able to model high personal and professional standards.
