The Head of Resource Development will work with the CEO (מטח) to drive the organization’s fundraising through collaborations with philanthropic funders internationally, and so further CET’s standing as a leading force for innovative learning solutions in Israel.

CET is seeking to hire its first Head of Resource Development to launch a resource development effort for this veteran organization. The Head of Resource Development will be a dynamic and inspiring leader with demonstrated success in building a fundraising strategy, working with board members, and growing philanthropic relationships.
As Head of Development, You Get To:
- Be responsible for all global fundraising efforts;
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing donors;
- Expand the donor base into new markets;
- Prepare all grant applications and all reports to funders and prospective funders – in Hebrew and in English;
- Plan and prepare all donor-related programming;
- Secure major gifts at the six figure level;
- Expand existing donor base in Israel, North America and beyond;
- Plan and lead all donor visits and missions;
- Plan and lead all overseas donor-related trips;
- Be responsible for all data management as well as gift processing and acknowledgement.
This Job Is For You If You:
- Have at least 5 years prior experience in fundraising, board development, donor cultivation, and grant writing;
- Have a real understanding of and familiarity with Israel’s educational and technological landscapes;
- Have a deep understanding of the Jewish philanthropic landscape;
- Have previously fundraised for a comparable educational organization – an advantage;
- Are an English speaker with excellent English presentation and writing skills;
- Are a Hebrew speaker with excellent presentation and writing skills;
- Excellent analytical and creative skills in developing cultivation strategies;
- Self-starter with the confidence and maturity needed to join a driven team;
- Able to meet multiple deadlines and work well under pressure;
- Are computer literate: OFFICE, EXCEL, on-line grant reporting and submission, CRM.
