Five Fingers seeks a motivated and enthusiastic Head of Development to join its senior management team at this strategic juncture of its development, and to work closely with the CEO and Board to expand the donor-base and drive the organization’s growth (which includes the building of a new educational campus) both in Israel and internationally.

As Head of Development, You Get To:
- Join Five Fingers’ senior management team and take an active role in its development;
- Work closely with the CEO and Board to expand the donor-base and drive the organization’s growth;
- Have full responsibility for all resource development activities;
- Have full responsibility for creating and implementing an annual fundraising plan (both in Israel and internationally);
- Have full responsibility for devising and leading a capital campaign to build an educational campus in honor of its graduates who fell on October 7 and its aftermath;
- Have full responsibility (in both languages) for writing all grant proposals (including budgets) and reports, ensuring they are well-written, accurate, impact-driven, and tell a compelling story;
- Have full responsibility (in both languages) for all correspondence, LOIs, and other supporting documents, and adapting them to the needs of each donor and prospect;
- Be responsible for expanding the current donor base both in Israel and among communities in the global Jewish diaspora (including foundations, private donors, the corporate sector and government sources);
- Develop opportunities for engaging new donors in the work of Five Fingers;
- Prepare and lead all donor meetings and visits (in both languages);
- Be responsible for the tracking of grant cycles and donor engagement in an organized and streamlined manner, including all reporting requirements (in both languages) and donor cultivation activities;
- Be responsible for raising awareness of the Five Fingers’ brand and marketing its impact to current and prospective funders;
- Gradually build a development team.
This Job Is For You If You:
- Have demonstrated success (at least 5 years) producing and implementing a development strategy in an Israeli nonprofit;
- Have demonstrated success (at least 7 years) submitting successful grants, reports and the full gamut of written donor communications;
- Have fluent English, with impeccable presentation skills – a MUST!
- Have fluent Hebrew, with impeccable presentation skills – a MUST!
- Have excellent interpersonal skills;
- Have proven experience working with detailed budgets;
- Can complete projects with exceptional attention to detail and efficiency;
- Are action-oriented and flexible, and are able to work independently as well as to collaborate with colleagues;
- Are familiar with data management;
- Are personable, motivated, and a team player;
- Can multi-task and prioritize, and are a quick learner;
