The Executive Director of the Friends of ALYN Hospital will work with the Hospital Director and its Board of Governors to engage philanthropic resources interested in supporting this renowned pediatric and adolescent rehabilitation hospital.

Reporting directly to the Chairperson of the Friends of ALYN, the Executive Director will be a dynamic and inspiring leader with well-honed managerial skills and demonstrated success in building and executing a fundraising strategy, working with board members, and growing and strengthening philanthropic relationships both throughout Israel and internationally.
As Executive Director of Israeli Friends of ALYN Hospital, You Get To:
- Be responsible for all fundraising efforts in Israel and abroad – philanthropic, corporate and special projects, such as the annual Wheels of Love Bike Ride;
- Manage the professional team at the Friends of ALYN Hospital;
- Work with the Israel-based team to execute a comprehensive fundraising plan and grow the Israeli donor base;
- Work hand-in-hand with our international partners to increase philanthropic revenues and grow the donor base;
- Direct solicitation of philanthropic contributions;
- Facilitate major gift opportunities;
- Meet capital campaign targets;
- Increase awareness of ALYN Hospital;
- Develop fundraising materials, events, campaigns and initiatives (in collaboration with the Israel-based team);
- Coordinate Board engagement and activities both in Israel and internationally;
- Oversee and coordinate legal and accounting partners to ensure administrative compliance, good governance and transparency;

- Have prior experience in fundraising, board development, donor cultivation, and grant writing;
- Are fluent in English and Hebrew;
- Are personable, motivated, and a team leader and player;
- Are an experienced writer and speaker;
- Can multi-task and prioritize, and are a quick learner;
- Are a strategic and nuanced thinker capable of creating innovative ways to effectively engage new donor audiences;
- Are detail-oriented, organized, enthusiastic, and energetic;
- Have a deep understanding of the Israeli, North American Jewish, and European philanthropic landscapes;
- Are ethical and have high personal and professional standards.
