Friends of Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (FTASMC) is a longstanding 501c3 US organization now seeking an Operations Associate. Reporting to the FTASMC Board and closely liaising with Director of Overseas Development at the Israel-based Association of Friends of Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, the successful candidate will provide the full gamut of operational support necessary for the successful growth of philanthropic relationships.
As TASMC’s Operations Associate, You will:
- Provide full assistance in the execution of the annual work plan;
- Carry out day-to-day administrative milestones and timelines for projects in conjunction with the work plan;
- Coordinate Board engagement activities;
- Oversee and coordinate legal and accounting obligations (including light banking duties) to ensure administrative compliance, good governance and transparency;
- Coordinate and oversee donor and Board events (both virtual and on-site);
- Oversee all ongoing donor and Board communications;
- Oversee logistics for US visits of the Israel-based team;
- Be responsible for implementing an annual calendar of events (including guest lists, invitations, catering, and procuring appropriate event venue);
- Be responsible for data base management, donor mailings, distribution of quarterly newsletter and activities on social media, including work with webmaster to update website;
- Assist in implementation of fundraising activities – provide administrative and logistic support for meetings and events.
This Job Is For You If You:
- Have at least 3 years of prior experience in nonprofit administration;
- Are interested in and understand health care in Israel;
- Have some knowledge of Hebrew;
- Have worked with CRM databases and Microsoft Office software;
- Are available to work across multiple time zones including Pacific and Israel time, as needed;
- Are personable, motivated, and a team player;
- Are experienced in setting up zoom meetings and events;
- Can multi-task and prioritize, and are a quick learner;
- Are a strategic thinker, super responsible and highly organized;
- Are detail-oriented, organized, enthusiastic, and energetic;
- Are able to work independently.
