Kivunim seeks an enthusiastic and creative Head of Development to work with the CEO and Board to expand the donor-base and drive the organization’s growth both in Israel and internationally.

As Head of Development, You Get To:
- Have full responsibility for all resource development;
- Have full responsibility for creating and implementing an annual fundraising plan;
- Be responsible for expanding the current donor base both in Israel and abroad (foundations, private donors, the corporate sector and government sources);
- Be responsible for raising awareness of the Kivunim brand and marketing its impact to current and prospective funders;
- Oversee all grant proposals (including budgets) and reports, ensuring they are well-written, accurate, impact-driven, and tell a compelling story;
- Oversee all correspondence, LOIs, and other supporting documents adapting to the needs of each donor and prospect;
- Manage a grant-writer;
- Oversee the tracking of grant cycles and donor engagement in an organized and streamlined manner, including all reporting requirements, check-in meetings, and donor cultivation activities.
This Job Is For You If You:
- Have demonstrated success managing resource development in an Israeli nonprofit;
- Have demonstrated success submitting successful grants, reports and the full gamut of written donor communications;
- Have fluent English and with impeccable presentation skills;
- Are fluent in Hebrew and with impeccable presentation skills;
- Have excellent interpersonal skills;
- Have proven experience working with detailed budgets;
- Can complete projects with exceptional attention to detail and efficiency;
- Are action-oriented and flexible, and are able to work independently as well as to collaborate with colleagues;
- Are familiar with data management;
- Are personable, motivated, and a team player;
- Can multi-task and prioritize, and are a quick learner;
