We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Grant Writer to join our Resource Development Unit

Position:         Grant Writer

Location:        Mikve Israel (near Holon Intersection)

Type:               Full – 100%

Start:              May 2019

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing new sources of funding in Israel and abroad.
• Targeting new potential donors from all sectors: Foundations, private donors, CSR
• Writing and submitting grant proposals and reports, in English and Hebrew.
• Maintaining relationships with philanthropists and contributing organizations.
• Close monitoring and scheduled follow-up of submitted applications and reports.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND BACKGROUND:

• English – mother tongue – Must
• Hebrew – mother tongue/high level
• Proof of success for 5 years' experience in Grant Writing and development
• 5 years' experience in writing grant applications
• High motivation, creativity, good interpersonal skills
• High verbal skills (writing and oral), order and precision,attention to detail
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office, databases, CRM, internet search)
• Ability to work independently as well as integrate in teamwork
• Good performance under pressure and changes

OTHER SKILLS

• French language – Oral and writing- Advantage
• Familiarity with the field of Education – Advantage
• Experience in managing digital fundraising campaigns – Advantage
