We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Grant Writer to join our Resource Development Unit
Position: Grant Writer
Location: Mikve Israel (near Holon Intersection)
Type: Full – 100%
Start: May 2019
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing new sources of funding in Israel and abroad.
- Targeting new potential donors from all sectors: Foundations, private donors, CSR
- Writing and submitting grant proposals and reports, in English and Hebrew.
- Maintaining relationships with philanthropists and contributing organizations.
- Close monitoring and scheduled follow-up of submitted applications and reports.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND BACKGROUND:
- English – mother tongue – Must
- Hebrew – mother tongue/high level
- Proof of success for 5 years' experience in Grant Writing and development
- 5 years' experience in writing grant applications
- High motivation, creativity, good interpersonal skills
- High verbal skills (writing and oral), order and precision,attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office, databases, CRM, internet search)
- Ability to work independently as well as integrate in teamwork
- Good performance under pressure and changes
OTHER SKILLS
- French language – Oral and writing- Advantage
- Familiarity with the field of Education – Advantage
- Experience in managing digital fundraising campaigns – Advantage
