The VP Development will work with the CEO to plan and implement a full annual work plan that promotes that increases philanthropic support for its work.

Job Status: Full-time based in Jerusalem; Salary range: 18,000 – 20,000

Reporting to the CEO, the VP Development will be responsible for all fundraising and donor relations operations, including gift processing, database management, prospect research, solicitations and stewardship cycles that help MATI meet all its funding goals.
As MATI’s VP Development, You Get To:
- Report to the CEO;
- Be responsible for all fundraising efforts;
- Plan and execute a comprehensive fundraising plan;
- Direct solicitation of all philanthropic gifts both in Israel and abroad;
- Be responsible for all increasing support from government agencies, municipalities, and the private sector;
- Found a MATI alumni organization, and both plan and execute a plan to turn it into an additional revenue stream;
- Oversee all grant writing, reporting and donor communications;
- Oversee the production of all donor-driven marketing materials;
- Manage supportive development team;
- Be responsible for all data management as well as gift processing and acknowledgements (via the organizational; CRM);
- Represent the organization where needed.
This Job Is For You If You:
- Have at least 5 years prior experience in fundraising, donor cultivation, and PR in Israel and abroad;
- Have some proven managerial experience;
- Are an English speaker with excellent presentation and writing skills;
- Are a Hebrew speaker with excellent presentation and writing skills;
- Are high-functioning, curious, motivated and a team player;
- Have a passion for the MATI mission;
- Are familiar with the Jewish philanthropic landscape;
- Are available to travel to both North America and Europe;
- Can multi-task and prioritize, and are a quick learner;
- Are detail-oriented, organized, enthusiastic, and energetic;
- Are personable, and are able to forge relationships;
- Are ethical and able to model high personal and professional standards;
- Have a Bachelor’ degree in a recognized institute of higher education;
- Have experience with and knowledge of CRMs and are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
