An organization dedicated to nurturing leadership in Israel seeks a mission-driven, English-language grant writer to undertake responsibility for all donor submissions, grant reports, and donor-relations tracking.

The position is a full time one, the organization’s head office is in Lod, and a good working knowledge of Hebrew is a MUST.

DUTIES
- Assist the development team to increase funding and create new funding opportunities
- Write all grant applications and all reports to funders and prospective funders
- Track all submissions and relationships with funders worldwide
- Adapt and prepare all funder-related budgets
- Work, as necessary, to produce additional English-language materials, including annual reports and concept papers
- Assist the team with any other duties related to the cultivation of donors and prospects
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Must identify wholly with the organizational mission
- Native English speaker with outstanding English writing skills
- High-level Hebrew reading and speaking
- At least 3 years of proven grant writing experience
- Proven success in raising funds from foundations and private donors
- Excellent analytical and creative skills in developing cultivation strategies
- Self-starter with the confidence and maturity needed to join a highly driven development team
- Able to meet multiple deadlines and work well under pressure
- Computer literacy: OFFICE, EXCEL, on-line grant reporting and submission, CRM
