The Director of Major Gifts will partner with the Chief Development Officer to expand philanthropic support in Israel and abroad, leading a once-in-a-lifetime campaign to build a world-class 21st century rehabilitation hospital for Israel.

Reporting to the CDO, the Director of Major Gifts will have proven success raising major capital gifts, building a fundraising strategy, working with board members, and cultivating philanthropic relationships.
As Director of Major Gifts at Reuth, You Will:
- Assist the CDO in all global fundraising efforts;
- Build and manage a portfolio of donors and prospects, cultivating and soliciting major gifts worldwide by identifying new prospects;
- Secure six-and seven- figure gifts for the new hospital;
- Oversee grant applications and reports in English and in Hebrew;
- Plan and lead donor visits and missions.
This Job Is For You If:
- Have deep frontline fundraising experience including board development, donor cultivation, and grant writing;
- Have secured seven-figure gifts for a capital campaign;
- Are fluent in Hebrew and English;
- Are personable, motivated, and a team player;
- Are a strong writer and speaker;
- Are a strategic thinker who can engage new donor audiences;
- Are detail-oriented, organized , and energetic;
- Understand the Israeli and Jewish philanthropic landscape;
- Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards;
- Are available to travel abroad frequently.

With 12 departments and 355 beds, Reuth TLV is Israel’s largest rehabilitation hospital, treating the most complex cases under one roof. As an independent hospital, Reuth receives no ongoing government support. It is funded by providing services to HMOs and the generosity of supporters in Israel and worldwide. Now, after 60 years, Reuth is embarking on a once-in-a-lifetime project to build a new, larger, state-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital on land donated by the City of Tel Aviv.
