The organization, which aims to provide every child in Israel with access to high-quality education, seeks a seasoned fundraiser to undertake full responsibility for donor relations and resource development.

Reporting to the CEO, the position is a full-time one. Fundraising is conducted both in English and in Hebrew! The organization’s offices are in Lod. Salary range: 15,000 – 17,000

DUTIES
- Work directly with CEO to increase funding and create new income options
- Have full responsibility for developing all donor relationships – throughout the Jewish world and in Israel
- Write all grant applications and all reports to funders and prospective funders – in Hebrew and in English
- Expand existing donor base across the Jewish world and in Israel
- Plan and lead all donor initiatives
- Prepare all donor-driven marketing material
- Update organizational CRM
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- At least 5 years’ experience heading fundraising efforts for an Israeli organization
- English speaker with clear, precise and compelling English writing skills
- Hebrew speaker with excellent writing skills
- Demonstrated ability to write successful grant proposals
- Detail-oriented, organized, deadline-driven
- Able to effectively communicate
- Excellent analytical and creative skills in developing cultivation strategies
- Self-starter with the confidence and maturity needed to join a driven team
- Able to meet multiple deadlines and work well under pressure
- An academic degree
- Computer literacy: OFFICE, EXCEL, on-line grant reporting and submission, CRM
