The Director of Resource Development will work with the Executive Director to build and implement the full annual fundraising work plan and engage philanthropic resources interested in advancing democracy, freedom of and from religion, racial equality, women’s and LGBTQ rights, and to protect the rights of converts and immigrants in Israel.

Job Status: Full-time. The organization is based in Jerusalem but the position is a hybrid one; Salary range: 15,000 – 17,000 (with potential flexibility for especially experienced candidates).

As Director of Resource Development at the Israel Religious Action Center, You Get To:
- Be responsible for all development operations;
- Develop and implement a fundraising strategy;
- Manage a team of 2-3 development professionals;
- Cultivate relationships with all existing funders;
- Identify and engage new philanthropic sources;
- Be responsible for all grant writing, reporting and donor communications;
- Manage crowdfunding campaigns both in Israel and abroad;
- Manage end-of-year campaigns;
- Plan overseas trips and travel with the Executive Director;
- Be responsible for all data management as well as gift processing and acknowledgement;
- Represent the organization before visiting missions.
This Job Is For You If You:
- Have a passion for our mission;
- Are familiar with the Jewish philanthropic landscape;
- Have prior experience in fundraising, donor cultivation, and grant writing;
- Have prior experience managing a development team;
- Have prior experience building and overseeing budgets;
- Have faultless English and are fluent in Hebrew;
- Are high-functioning, creative and able to work concurrently on multiple projects;
- Have demonstrated experience with and knowledge of CRMs and are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Are ethical and able to model high personal and professional standards.
