The VP Resource Development will be responsible for all fundraising initiatives vis-a-vis existing donors worldwide and for creating new relationships between the movement and prospective donors in Israel and the Jewish world.

DUTIES
- As a member of the Tzofim management team you will work directly with the CEO to build a modern and professional resource development department and to increase funding, both in Israel and throughout the Jewish world;
- You will significantly expand the existing donor base in Israel and the Jewish world, including building a Friends of Tzofim organization;
- You will oversee all grant applications and all reports to funders and prospective funders – both in Hebrew and in English;
- You will oversee all donor-related programming;
- You will plan and lead all donor visits and missions;
- You will plan and prepare fundraising trips abroad;
- You will build and maintain relationships with the various departments and arms of the Tzofim movement in Israel and abroad.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- At least five years of proven experience raising major gifts and cultivating major donors;
- Proven managerial experience;
- English speaker with excellent English presentation and writing skills
- Hebrew speaker with excellent presentation and writing skills
- Excellent analytical and creative skills in developing cultivation strategies
- Self-starter with the confidence and maturity needed to join a driven team
- Able to meet multiple deadlines and work well under pressure
- A real understanding and familiarity with the Tzofim movement, on all the challenges it faces
- An academic degree
- Computer literacy: OFFICE, EXCEL, on-line grant reporting and submission, CRM
