The grants writer will work with the Foundation’s team to implement the full grant cycle in English.

Job Status: Part-time (70%); the position is a hybrid one (the organization’s offices are in Sderot). Salary range: 13,000 – 14,000

Reporting to the Head of Development, the grant writer will develop donor-ready materials, including proposals, reports and budgets in English.
As the Sderot Foundation’s Grants Writer, You Get To:
- Write grant proposals and reports, ensuring they are well-written, impact-driven, and tell a compelling story;
- Draft correspondence, LOIs, and other supporting documents adapting to the needs of each donor and prospect;
- Work with the Foundation staff to capture relevant data that informs grant reports and other development material;
- Prepare detailed and accurate budgets to accompany all relevant donor-driven narratives.
This Job Is For You If You:
- Have demonstrated success in writing successful grants, reports and the full gamut of written donor communications;
- Have faultless English and impeccable writing skills;
- Are fluent in Hebrew;
- Have proven experience preparing detailed budgets on Excel spreadsheets;
- Can complete projects with exceptional attention to detail and efficiency;
- Are action-oriented and flexible, and are able to work independently as well as to collaborate with colleagues;
- Are personable, motivated, and a team player;
- Can multi-task and prioritize, and are a quick learner;
- Are detail-oriented, organized, enthusiastic, and energetic;
- Are ethical and able to model high personal and professional standards.
