Working closely with the CEO, the VP Development will define short- and long-term funding goals, and lead all development efforts.

As VP Development, You Will:
- Report to the CEO;
- Be a member of the organization’s management team;
- Be responsible for all fundraising efforts both in Israel and internationally;
- Have full responsibility for cultivating all existing donors and for expanding the donor base;
- Be responsible for overseeing all grant applications and reports (LOIs proposals, reports, budgets and budget narratives);
- Work with staff to ensure compliance with granting commitments;
- Plan all donor initiatives;
- Be responsible for all acknowledgments of major donors through public and private recognition.
This Job Is For You If You:
- Have consistently raised gifts in North America and Europe for at least three years;
- Have prior experience in board development, donor cultivation, and grant writing in Israel and in North America (Europe an advantage);
- Have faultless English and are fluent in Hebrew; `
- Possess outstanding writing skills in English;
- Have strong oral presentation skills;
- Are able to meet multiple deadlines and work well under pressure;
- Are a strong team player with leadership capabilities;
- Are a self-starter who can compile raw data from a variety of sources and move forward;
- Have excellent interpersonal skills;
- Are computer literate (including Office, Excel, on-line grant platforms, and Salesforce.
