Reporting to the College President, the Head of Development will be responsible for all fundraising initiatives vis-a-vis existing donors and for creating new relationships between the College and prospective major donors in Israel and the Jewish world. Success in this role will be measured by the resources developed for initiatives defined by the College.

As VP of Yezreel Valley College, You Get To:
- Work directly with the College President to increase funding and create new income options, in Israel and the Jewish world;
- Oversee all grant applications and all reports to funders and prospective funders – in Hebrew and in English;
- Oversee all donor-related programming;
- Expand existing donor base in Israel and the Jewish world;
- Plan and lead all donor visits and missions;
- Plan and prepare fundraising trips abroad;
This Job Is For You If You:
- Have at least five years of proven experience raising major gifts and cultivating major donors;
- Are an English speaker with excellent English presentation and writing skills;
- Are a Hebrew speaker with excellent presentation and writing skills;
- Excellent analytical and creative skills in developing cultivation strategies;
- Self-starter with the confidence and maturity needed to join a driven team;
- Able to meet multiple deadlines and work well under pressure;
- A real understanding and familiarity with Israel’s northern periphery, on all the challenges it faces;
- A strong commitment to the College and its mission;
- Are computer literate: OFFICE, EXCEL, on-line grant reporting and submission, CRM.
