Veteran Shared Society Organization Seeks Experienced English-Language Grant Writer
A leading shared-society nonprofit seeks an experienced English-language
grant writer to take responsibility for all submissions and reports.
The position is a full time one, the organization’s offices are in Beer Sheva, and a good
working knowledge of Hebrew is a must.

If you live in the Negev and are an English-language writer by nature and know-how, have
ample experience putting your creative writing talent to good social use, writing grants, LOIs
and all manner of donor-driven material for nonprofits, then we are looking for you.
DUTIES
– Work directly with Head of Development to maintain all relationships and optimize
all funding opportunities
– Write all grant applications to funders
– Prepare all reports, both narrative and financial, for funders
– Track and supervise all submissions and relationships with funders worldwide
– Research prospective funders to expand existing donor base
– Keep organizational CRM updated at all times
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
– Must identify wholly with the organizational mission and with the notion of a shared
society
– Native English speaker with outstanding writing skills
– At least 3 years experience in grant writing and reporting, preferably in the fields of
civil rights, Jewish-Arab relations, and shared society
– Proven success in writing exceptionally high-quality reports to individual donors and
foundations – that raise funds
– Fluent Hebrew
– Self-starter who is able to meet multiple deadlines and work well under pressure
– Academic degree
– Computer literacy: OFFICE, EXCEL, on-line grant reporting and submission.
