The Director of Resource Development will be responsible for all fundraising initiatives, including expanding the current donor base and creating new relationships and funding opportunities.

Salary range: 11,000 – 13,000

As Director of Development, You Get To:
- Be responsible for all development operations in all current revenue streams:
- Philanthropic (including foundations) – both in Israel and abroad;
- The Israeli corporate sector;
- Government and local councils;
- Cultivate relationships with all existing funders;
- Identify and establish new revenue sources;
- Be responsible for all grant writing, reporting and donor communications;
- Plan overseas trips and travel with the Executive Director;
- Be responsible for all data management;
- Represent the organization before visiting missions;
- Be responsible for advancing the organization’s status as a UN consultant on gender issues, including:
- Creating opportunities for the organization to participate in UN discussions;
- Preparing and submitting position papers;
- Developing relationships and identifying possible revenue streams.
This Job Is For You If You:
- Have a passion for our mission;
- Have prior experience in fundraising, donor cultivation, and grant writing;
- Have prior experience building and overseeing budgets;
- Have faultless English and are fluent in Hebrew;
- Are high-functioning, creative and able to work concurrently on multiple projects;
- Are ethical and able to model high personal and professional standards.
- Are a self-starter with the confidence and maturity needed to join a driven team
- Are able to meet multiple deadlines and work well under pressure
- Are computer literate: (OFFICE, EXCEL, on-line grant reporting and submission, CRM)
